User Manual
Measure the patient`s chest circumference directly under the armpits to the middle of the chest. Review and find proper ThoraxBelt size:
ThoraxBelt XS = 60-70 cm
ThoraxBelt S = 70-80 cm
ThoraxBelt M = 80-95 cm
ThoraxBelt L = 95-110 cm
ThoraxBelt XL = 110-125 cm
ThoraxBelt XXL = 125-150 cm
The ThoraxBelt will be placed directly on the skin, over the incision area around the chest. The ThoraxBelt closure should sit on the side of the chest that is opposite of the incision, as shown in the pictures.
The ThoraxBelt is closed and tightened to a pressure level that relieves pain, not restricting breathing.
The ThoraxBelt is applied when patients begin to experience pain.
